He joined the Africa National Congress in 1944 and after 1948 he was concentrate to fight against the ruling National Party's apartheid, then he became national nolunteer-in-chief of the 1952 Defiance Campaign. But nevertheless even the life became so harsh, he always have his words "the struggle is my life." Finally as we all know, this hero won hunderds of awards over four decades. So in this sense, we could find that he always follows his heart and definatly insisted his mind and that brings the black people rights and equality.
