The graph below shows the demand for electricity in England during typical days in winter and summer. The pie chart shows how electricity is used in an average English home.

The graph depicts the typical daily demand for electricity in England in two different seasons winter and summer, with a unit of electricity given, while the pie chart indicates how the electricity is used for in a general English household.

As can be seen, in the winter, through hours from the middle of the night to the morning, there is a decrease from 40,000 to 30,000. Around after 9 am, people tend to use an increasing amount of electricity, with a more pronounced escalation from 30,000 to the highest of the day of nearly 50,000. However, there is a drop in an amount of electricity consumed from bedtime.

On the other hand, the tendency of electricity in the summer relatively resembles that in the winter, with just a slight decline from the middle of the afternoon to the period of dusk. At any rate, in terms of quantity, there is a huge disparity of approximately 20,000 in both

Besides, it is evident that the electricity is consumed mostly in heating equipments, with a figure of 52%, followed by 17.5% of kitchen equipments, and 30% of other electronics.

All in all, heating plays a leading role in affecting electricity usage

Thank you so much:)
