"Get an A, but no brain" - Cheating and plagiarism

This essay is for my English class. I need it PERFECT, nothing wrong (spelling, punctuation, grammar, structure, etc)
Please, help me correct it.

You Might Get Your A, but You Get Nothing in Your Brain

Plagiarism and cheating are never, under any circumstances acceptable; nevertheless, students who cheat are not criminals. Those students should not be judged as criminals. But they must have consequences. Students who cheat don't even understand what they are doing. For most students, cheating is something natural. When someone cheats for the first time, it then becomes a habit.

Students who cheat are wrong. Students should not cheat; there are laws that we must obey.
There are students who are ignorant of the consequences that involve plagiarizing a work and that when they are doing a research paper, and are taking information, they must cite the source or at least put quotes. Is not about playing; moral, ethics, and even students' necessities are involved. When a student decides to cheat is not always about being lazy, there are sometimes other factors that involves their necessity to cheat, such as the pressures of school the pressures at home, at job. A main cause of this problem is the pressure that parents and schools put on students to do well. Education at home is very important. It influences student's decisions and actions.

Everywhere we go we heard of "do your best in school, get the best grades (college admission), and you will succeed". Today, the world outside of class is getting more competitive, and people base our capacity in how well we did in school, how great are our grades.

When grades are the principal tool to measure academic success, it also creates for students the most important thing to worry about, instead of learning something. Students feel pressure to get good grades. Some students feel the ultimate necessity to cheat to get good grades. "People don't go to school to learn. They go to get good grades, which bring them to college, which brings them the high paying job, which brings them to happiness, so they think." (Pope)

Also, there are lazy students who don't care about their necessities and just like to cheat.
Cheating is the easiest way to get good grades, but, does it really works? It might works. It works like a shadow, you get your A but you get nothing in your brain.

I have not finished... I need like 4 pages but im out of ideas :(

I am speaking on my own behalf here. I really do not know what you want.
Firstly, you expect us, as members of this site, to make your essay immaculate.
You expect us to do this, even though you have given us an incomplete essay and even though you have not offered any useful/detailed feedback to any other member's threads on this site.

I will be nice enough however to give you some advice pertaining to your essay.
Your English should not be the only thing you should be worried about. The content in itself is quite weak.

Post detailed feedback on other people's essays, and people, such as myself and other members on this site naturally, will post detailed feedback on your threads.

Enjoy :)

^I would completely rewrite your essay. Your underdeveloped points are also very cliche. You need better arguments in order to make this a 4 page essay.

Your essay as it is posted starts off with what sounds like a defense of cheating, then ends with something that could be considered a thesis statement, though it connects not at all to the rest of your introduction. You might want to focus more clearly on the disadvantages of cheating, and how these relate to the reasons for cheating, the eventual consequences, etc. It would be easier to help you if you posted a full essay.

even though you have not offered any useful/detailed feedback to any other member's threads on this site.

Let's not overdo this. The first essay students can legitimately post without giving feedback, sort of as a welcome to the community. If they don't put in any effort into their comments when earning the right to post new threads, then we can yell at them and try to reduce them to tears.

^I am perfectly fine with that. What I was not fine with however, was Jess's expectations of us, as members on this site.

This essay is for my English class. I need it PERFECT, nothing wrong (spelling, punctuation, grammar, structure, etc)

^It is as if there is an expectation that we should do this for her. What entitles her to have such high expectations? She could have been credible to expect this however, had she been helpful with other members on the site. Since she has not however done anything on this site, but post a thread containing an incomplete essay and a 'command'( which if executed would require a lot of effort) to make her essay PERFECT, I just think that is inappropriate.

I have not finished... I need like 4 pages but im out of ideas :(

^That is also quite rude in my opinion. Jess expects us to make her essay flawless, even though she decides to give us an incomplete project. To me, that suggests that Jess over here is not that bothered.

If she is not bothered for herself, then realistically, should I bother?
I think we can all agree that the answer here is: no

Let's all just breathe. Our contributors were justifiably vexed by being asked to make an incomplete essay PERFECT. Our new member was justifiably vexed by their snarky replies. My guess is that the new member's anxiety about this essay -- why, exactly, has s/he been asked to write this essay, one wonders? -- crept into the posting and its replies.

I got help somewhere else.

Come back anytime.

While we get a fair number of aspiring freeriders here, the default assumption for anyone new should be that they are going to try their best to be a productive member of the essayforum community. Initial breaches of etiquette should be corrected gently and helpfully. Also, people should avoid *trying* to take offense. For instance, someone who says s/he needs an essay to be perfect, and then requests help, is not necessarily asking for us to make the essay perfect, S/he may only be explaining why s/he felt it necessary to seek help. Always assume goodwill until you have a strong reason to do otherwise.
