Could anyone please rate my GRE essay

"Laws should not be rigid or fixed. Instead, they should be flexible enough to take account of various circumstances, times, and places."

'Rule of law is better than rule of individual'. Indeed it is true for if there in no rule of law perhaps there will be no individual left.

Law is system of rules defined for the society to balance and maintain its economic , social , cultural and environmental growth. The law is made for a society not only on a country basis but also internationally.

Today we have wide spectrum of laws ranging from common law to administrative law, from property law to constitutional law, from personal law to trust laws.

Nevertheless, it should be noticed that man, from his prinstine age had been formulating the ethical and legal way of leading the normal life. It was from his experiences and evidences that he went on refining the the way life should be lead. In this course of refinement, he formulated laws and made it compulsory for the society to abide by it. The nature of law was made more vivid

and comprehensible learning from the places, events and circumstances.

The great depression of 1929 brought into existence, the numerous finance laws which made sure that such disastrous economic recession would not hit the society to a extent it did in 1929. It regulated many banking policies and financial

decisions which curbed the aggresssive ambition of money-makers and made it possible for a middle class man to achieve economic growth. The finance laws underwent changes because of the circumstances.

To state another example, the environmental laws are now-a-days on hot-lists of discussions. The Copenhagen summit and other internationally held conferences are in constant strive to formulate a better environmental laws to prevent the

detrimental effects of the indusrtial growth and its concomitant pollution. The Kyoto protocol was designed in 1990 ,for curbing the pollution. However , today when we have reached the acme of all types of pollution, Kyoto protocol

requires refinement in its definition so that more intensive regulations are followed by the nations. The environmental laws need to change for the times are changing. It has been evident from the history and current affairs that the law system requires refinement based on events, circumstances, places and times. It cant be rigid to make society follow which was designed for it decades back.

Nevertheless, law should also not be too fragile for any culprit to break it and escape. Every accused person has a reason for his crime. But law should be firm enough to hold its ground and give a proper reprimand to the guilty man.

i like it what is it for there are some unnecessary sentences, reread it and take out the excess and use better words (look up synonyms at such words as: refining_).

This does not have many errors. I found this part that could be improved, though:
The nature of law was made more vivid and comprehensible as people learned from the places, events and circumstances of the time.

The great depression of 1929 brought into existence (no comma necessary here) the numerous finance laws which made sure that such disastrous economic recession would not hit the society to the extent it did in 1929.

Very good! I think you are bilingual, but you have learned perfect English.

Instead of him, you should write person, and instead of mankind you should write humankind. That way, you are gender-inclusive.

:-)
