I honestly thank to anyone who can help me check this essay below.

Write about the following topic:
Compare the advantages and disadvantages of three of the following as
media for communicating information. State which you consider to be the
most effective.
- comics
- books
- radio
- television
- film
- theatre
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge
or experience.
Write at least 250 words.

With the development of technology, media for communicating information are growing faster and more modern than many years ago. We can contact or get information through many ways, such as: television, radio or books. In my opinion, those are popular media for communicating information nowadays.

Compare with television and radio, we all know that books are the oldest way to transfer information from one person to another. Many many years ago people identified that if they wanted to share or store their knowledge, experiences..., writing down would be the best way. And now, we have millions of useful book from previous generations to help us improve knowledge. But finding the suitable book is not easy and books always take people so much time to read.

Besides that, life is growing fast and books also cannot meet people demand in time so radio is the appropriate supplement. This media is extremely appropriate for busy person. They can catch information easily on the way to work by listening radio. Although radio is very convenient but people just hear so it may be not clear and difficult to understand.

In my opinion, the most effective media is television. With television any news what are happening around the world can be informed to viewers quickly. In addition, TV not only provide information as books or voice as radio but also offers both picture and sound lively. TV is so popular that almost people spent at least 15 minus a day to watch it. In the past, the main purpose of TV is supply news and make people relax. But now it is increasingly commercialized, there are too many advertisements and many programmers are not suitable for children. To solve this problem many special channels are created, for examples: BBC news, HBO, discovery channel... Because of its convenient, people become more lazy to search for information and the influence of TV to children is bad than good if they take so much time to watch TV everyday.

As a result, there have many media for communicating information so choosing the best suitable for you is important to not waste your time.

Hi,
Too many words for IELTS task 2! (356 words)
You probably won't be able to finish it in the real exam.
Try to keep it under 270 words, make it simpler...

...we all know that books are the oldest way to transfer information from one person to another. I think these sentences state the facts about books and TV, not really about they're dis/advantages.

You have all the points to write about each media, you can list them like this:
Books:
Advantage:
millions of useful book from previous generations
Disadvantage:
finding the suitable book is not easy
books always take people so much time to read
books also cannot meet people demand in time
Radio:
Advantage:
appropriate supplement for books
extremely appropriate for busy person
Disadvantage:
people just hear so it may be not clear and difficult to understand.
TV:
Advantage:
informed to viewers quickly
offers both picture and sound lively
Disadvantage:
people become more lazy to search for information
the influence of TV to children is bad than good
Then elaborate each points so that you won't write stuff that are irrelevant.

Hope this helps!
I can't help you with grammar, though, because I'm not a native speaker and I'm afraid I'll make mistakes...

With the development of technology, media for communicating information are growing faster and more modern than many years ago. We can contact or get information through many ways, such as: television, radio or books. These sentences state the obvious. They are not good for making a powerful essay. Instead, begin by making an interesting observation. In my opinion, television, radio, and books are the most popular media for communicating information nowadays.

Should it be television, internet, and books?
Because of its convenience, people become more lazy and do not want to have to search for information, and the influence of TV to children is bad than good if they take so much time to watch TV everyday.

As a result, there have many media are available for communicating information, so choosing the best suitable for you is important if you want to avoid wasting your time.
