agree or not? Telephone has greater influence on people's lives than television has

When it comes to the word "the impact of different communication facilities on the people's lives", it arouses different responses among people based on their various experiences and dissimilar backgrounds. Some people may frown upon it; however, others might nod their heads at it with a smile on their faces. No matter which category we belong to, the concern on the effects of communicational facilities on our lives has recently been a thought-provoking issue to bring about and to desire for. As far as I am concerned, despite the undeniable merits of telephone, I generally disagree with the idea that the influence of telephone on our lives is more than television. in the following paragraphs, I will elaborate on my stance from my perspective through three outstanding reasons.

agree or not? Telephone has greater influence on people's lives than television has

When it comes to the word world "the impact of different communication facilities on the people's lives", it arouses different responses among people based on their various experiences and dissimilar backgrounds. Some people may frown upon it; however, others might nod their heads at it with a smile on their faces. No matter which category we belong to, the concern on the effects of communicational facilities on our lives has recently been a thought-provoking issue to bring about and to desire for .( try to make this part more concise) As far as I am concerned , despite the undeniable merits of telephone, I generally disagree with the idea that the influence of telephone on our lives is more than television. In the following paragraphs, I will elaborate on my stance from my perspective through three outstanding reasons.

The first and the foremost reason that comes to the mind is that, nowadays, television covers a large number of programs such as news, documentaries ,TV series and, movies, talk shows and lots ofmany other programs in nearly all the fields and the areas. So, in this today's modern era with vast number of scientific, cultural, political, etc. events, one can easily find them on television and then by watching television, it is obvious that all individuals will be influenced by all these exciting news. Furthermore, TV program makers use of cutting-edge technologies and methods to generate stunning and nail-biting special effects to use in their products that result in attraction of huge number of audiences. All of the above mentioned factors of the television causes the high popularity and consequently the great influence of it over the other communicational facilities like telephone.

Nonetheless, noonecould you can not underestimate the magnificent role of telephone, speciallyespecially the smartphones, in today's hectic life with their versatile uses from e-banking and online services through wireless internet connection to the countless applications with variety of purposes such as education (dictionaries, e-books), news apps, video games, etc. Additionally, using the telephone, people can communicate with their friends, families and relatives in all around the world through its universal network that cause the people to get along with each other with no trouble. ( this part needs to be rewritten It is hard for me to understand what you are trying to say. For the last but not the least reason, I would like to mention the informative results of a recent research which has been done by German sociologists at the Max Plank institution on the same topic to find out which of the modern communicational services has the prevalent effect on people's lives. The results showed that among TV, telephone, newspapers and news agencies, etc. the television is by far the most influential of them due to its more availability and audio-visual appeals.

Eventually Taking into account all of the aforementioned factors, in spite of the fact that not everyone reaches a consensus on this issue, I mainly assert that the influence of TV is moregreater on peoples lives than telephone onpeople'slives because of its easier and moreoconvenient and less expensive use of it easier, less expensive, and more convenient. However, that was a story in a nutshell; actually, there are some other reasons and examples, challenging the claim, which are not mentioned above . (this sentence needs to be rewritten. No need to mention that you just touched on the topic.)

I personally think it would be easier to make a stronger case for the Telephone/smartphone. These are my main suggestions but you should look over your entire essay and try to make other corrections yourself. Goodluck

The only idiom of "word" I am familiar with is when you use it to mean "Yes, I agree with you" :

Man, that movie was so awesome.
Word.

I agree that "world" does really work there - I would stick with "phrase".
