Ielts - students that travel and work after high school vs. those who don't

Some people think that students who don't take a break in studies between a high school and a university are at disadvantage compared to students that travel and work after high school before furthering their education. Do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, in this competitive world knowledge gained form school and university is not enough. This can be seen when companies hire fresh graduates and invest a certain amount of money to train them. It is believed that the students who study form school to university without break are having fewer advantages than the pupils who take some time off in between school and university. This will be proven by analyzing both of these groups one by one.

Firstly, looking at the students who finish their higher education without any split have only theoretical experience and very less practical experience as they are not more exposed to the practical work apart from few small projects in final year studies. These students when come to practical life face more difficulties and take more time to adjust themselves as per requirement of the job. It is clear from the above example that this group of students will have fewer chances to secure a job in the market. From this it can be concluded that these students will have more drawbacks.

On the other hand the students who take some time between high school and university to do some jobs and explore the future prospectus of the studies will have more practical approach and can easily adjust themselves as per requirement of the job. For example students who work for some time before starting their higher education will have useful experience and skill for their future employer. From this it can be concluded that this group of students will have more benefits.

Following the study of both of the above groups of students it is clear that students who take time to do some practical work in between their study will have more benefits and better job opportunities. Further it is expected that these students will be a better choice for most of the employers.
