Epiphany in My Life
At one moment I was out there having fun with my friends wasting money ,my moms money . I dint wanted to go to school. In Middle School I was rebel I was a trouble maker I dint go to school for a whole year because I will go with my friends to kickbacks .I didndt think education was worth it for me it wasn't important. When I got to High School in 9th grade I was the same troublemaker but then in 10th grade I was starting to see 12 graders about to graduate and receiving scholarships and I was struggling because I bearly went to school when I seen everyone graduating and that I was missing credits I got upset , but I dint give up I tried to graduate and I did. I graduated and again I wasted 5 years of where I could have been getting educated .I started going again to parties having fun .Of course my friends will pay everything for me I will hang out with older people all the time and of course they work but they will struggle a lot on finding jobs or working on hard labor and they didn't have school education but they did work they had nice cars money and some were working doing bad things which I dint know about ,till after . After 4 years ,one of my friends that I used too hang out got arrested for possession of drugs which at some point I thought that was easy to do so I was about to do the same thing as she was . I wanted to have all the money she had as well. I remember she will tell me school education wasn't important. That they were many people who went to school and were really broke on money. But I seen people that were on universities and I will see them really accommodate and people that were doctors had nice cars and money and theyre conscious was clean not like the ones that were doing bad things. From that point I realize I need it school education that I didn't wnted to be in jail for making easy money like my friend.
I dint wanted to make easy money anymore. I wanted to work and make money but not easy money nor in hard labor . I would see many people making money without any education so I wanted to do the same thing not anymore after my friend got arrested. I didn't wanted to be just like them anymore, wasting their money on parties without saving any money for the future. I am very happy that I realized education is important; though friends were making money, they did not have stable jobs and of course they could fire them any time. Being educated and having a diploma shows how prepared you are and how responsible you are. Not many people make it through. From many friends that I have just one was working in a good job as a counselor where they are paying her $22.00 an hour, She did get educated she went to a vocational school. This shows that education is important.
I believe education is important for many reasons. First I believe people show more respect, because I am going to learn how to speak professionally. If I just work or attend a vocational school they don't teach anything. It is impossible for me to learn in 8 months especially how to write or speak professionally. Second I am not going to be able to get a job that I enjoy working so that job I am working is not a job , but is a pleasure. Not seeing the clock every time to see at what time I am going to get out, I think that is wonderful. Third I am going to get so much more money without struggling, having to work as a contractor and being paid a little bit more than the minimum less than the ones that are doing the same exact thing as you are doing and getting paid so much more than you, I think that is humiliating. I also thing that a person educated could create a successful family. Finally the best one, in consider I am going to have more opportunity to give my family a maximum life.
I relize that education is something to be proud of, because education is one thing t that can't be stolen it will never been taken away from you .Education gives us knowledge to the world around us and change us to something better. Some people don't see education important but it is, unfortunately this world treats you on your appearance or the way you speak and of course the knowledge you have, I am pretty sure everyone wants to be treated with respect and wants to have a good stable job and have many career opportunities well education and knowledge is the key is the only way to obtain that, so in my point it is important.
There is a quote that says "The more you learn the more you earn." I realize this quote is true because I have notice that the higher level of education we achieve is the higher level of income we are more likely to earn. For example Aerospace Engineers get paid $ 104,810 yearly so per hour they get paid $ 50.39 a person the lowest ten percent earn about $56,490 .So the more higher education is the more you earn. It is a big difference of numbers on how much they get paid , though is hard to make it through your goal education, it is worth it.
Finally if I have school education i will know how to communicate properly and if I know how to communicate properly there is a big chance I could get where ever i want to be because knowing how to communicate i could even intimidate people ,that is what I believe. For example if I am in the field of marketing and someone that doesn't have as much of education as I do there is a better chance that the one that has education will convince the customer because that educated person has more knowledge ,therefore has everything to convince the customer. On the other hand a person that isn't educated if the customer is educated and knows how to communicate more, the customer could say words I don't even have knowledge of and that is when I am not going to be able to convince the customer any more . For all these reasons I realize how important education is because I want to be a role model for others and make my family proud, I think it will also be the best gift I could give them. I am anxious to graduate for my major and to get more knowledge, meet new people that have goals in their life as well. Now I am a student at El Camino College which I don't regret at at all . This is the best decision I ever made in my life I said goodbye to parties now I am focusing on graduating as a computer engineer it is going to take time and be a tough path but at least is going to be worth it and I am going to have knowledge .I never want to be on the environment that I was before , I don't want to be in jail for making easy money I prefer working hard to obtain anything that I want .

I wanted to make money but not neither easy way nor through hard labor.I would seesaw many people making money without any education so I wanted to do the same thing not anymore after my friend got arrested.
After my friend got arrested, I realized the danger of making easy money due to not having a proper education. So I began to feel the value of education.
