Descriptive Essay '' Half Way Tree''

Half Way Tree is not considered to be the ideal tourist destination, however Half Way Tree is one of the most colorful, vibrant, and diverse cities in the world. At any given day, the Jamaican culture is flamboyantly displayed in a myriad of ways ranging from the mentally challenged man that dances in the streets to the sound of his own music or the Rastafarian man dressed in African colors and selling sugar cane by the side walk. The sound of hardcore reggae music echoes loudly through the hot, congested street as it was competing with the chorus of honking horns playing a spatial melody in its own genre.

The smell of marijuana and burnt garbage creates a toxic blend and it is easily inhaled by high school students neatly dressed in uniforms of all colors as expletives roll off the tongues of these students as if it was second nature.

Taxi men sit by the sidewalks, as they take in the spicy, exotic taste of the Jamaican Patties and wash down their troubles with a large bottle of freshly picked coconut water right from the shell.

They all walk around with smiling faces with their slogan tattooed on their hearts ''Jamaica No Problem.
