Chorleywood is a village near London whose population has increased steadily since the middle of the nineteenth century. The Map below shows the development of the village.

Regarding to the map Chorleywood is divided into nine blocks which is changing in a-four different periods.
Originally, main road existed in the left and in the top of the picture. The length of each side provided from the north to the south and also from the west to the east. On the other hand the other type of street is gradually built. The Railway length from west to east built in 1909 while motorway in the east, which connects the north to south, built in 1970.

Chorleywood area also develops consecutively for the last 126 years appeared in 1868 until 1994. In the beginning, from 1868 to 1883, there was the least area arising in the centre block while tremendous growth was occurs between 1990-1970 in the almost all blocks. It is interesting to seek more that area around Chorleywood station is rapidly developed between 1868 to 1970 rather than other area. While in the entire 126 years block in the west of Chorleywood Park and Golf Course was not develops at all.

...while tremendous growth was occurs between 1990-1970 in the almost all blocks .
It will be correct if you say " while tremendous growth was occurred...."
"It is interesting to seek more see that area around...."
between 1868 to 1970 rather than other area. While in the entire 126 years block
It will be correct if you connect these two sentences.

RegardingAccording to the map Chorleywood is divided into nine blocks which is changing in a-four different periods.

Well, these roads haven't changed over time. It is only the developments that have been taken place.

Chorleywood area also develops consecutively for the last 126 years appeared in 1868 until 1994.

.... better write in past tense as this happened in the past.
Follow this structure;
1. Introduction
2. Overview
3. Details

Ok, the structure I have given you is just a guide line that fits for many topics of this task, but at the same time it may not really fit well with some of the tasks. However, if you find difficult with following the detail section of this structure, just do it the way you like. That would be the best way :)

Helloooo...,
If you have a map, you'd better focus on the features given. These features are very very important as your torchlight when constructing the paragraphs. In this map, you have seven features: the first four talking about the dates and the second three showing infrastructures.

I try to show you how I compose these features into the bodies (giving the details):

The first body:
Start from 1868 to 1883: a small area along Chorleywood Park and Golf Course located in the centre of the village.
Then, 1883-1992: the horizontally shaded area around the station
Next, between 1922 and 1970: the darkly shaded area was established in south-southwest of the Chorleywood Park and Golf Course.
Finally, from 1970 to 1994: five diagonally shaded areas

The second body
- two Main roads from the east to the northwest and the north to southwest of the map
- Railway from the west to the east of the village was taken to this area in 1909
- In the east of the map , Motorway was built in 1970

Thanks.

This development expands expanded and made horizontal shaded area around the station in 1883 to 1992.

Then, a block in the west was not develop developing at all.

Two main roads was build were built from the east to the northwest and the north to southwest of the map.

Therefore, Railway from the west to the east was taken to this area in 1909.

In 1909, Railway was constructed which has run from the west to the east of the village .

So far our content of this writing is good, but you have to pay attention to grammar.

Chorleywood is a village near London whose population has increased steadily since the middle of the nineteenth century. The Map below shows details of village development.

Very good introduction :)

According to the map Chorleywood is divided into nine blocks which is changing in a-four different periods.

... This is not so important observation. This is my suggestion
According to the map Chorleywood had recorded a very slow development since 1992 while it had its highest level of development after 1970.

This development expandsexpandedand made horizontal shaded area around the station in 1883 to 1992.

Between 1868 and 1963 a small area along Chorleywood Park and Golf Coursed appeared in the centre of the village. This development expands and made horizontal shaded area around the station in 1883 to 1992. Next, between 1922 and 1970 the darkly shaded area was establish in south-southwest of the Chorleywood Park and Golf course. Finally, five diagonally areas built in the east and in several centre blocks. Then, a block in the west was not develop at all.

You should not talk about the technical presentations like "horizontal shaded area", "darkly shaded area". Here they expect you to present a meaningful analysis of what you see. So, let me do this first detailed body para for you ;

In 1868 to 1883, Chorleywood Village had remained as a very small village. During the period of 1883 to 1992 there had been a significant development taken place around the railway station making the village about three times larger than what it was. From 1922 to 1970 the development had been expanded towards eastwards and westwards. The biggest development of the village had been carried out during 1970 to 1994.

ou should not talk about the technical presentations

hi, Pahan. while I mention the technical content, like diagonally area and darkly area, it makes reader easier to identified which part of map I described, isn't it ?

During the period of 1883 to 1992 there had been a significant development taken place around the railway station making the village about three times larger than what it was.

after I read your example, I need to think more which part you mentioned, and I also seek repetitively the additional information in the bottom of the map.

All I wanna ask that which part we should attend more to describe in our writing, the content or the latent analysis of the map?

* I hope my question is quite understandable for you.
