News editors decide what to broadcast on television and what to print in
newspapers. What factors do you think influence these decisions? Do we
become used to bad news? Would it be better if more good news was
reported?
From past few decades newspaper and television has become popular media for infomation broadcasting.Although we have
all types of incidents happening in the world,decisions are taken by editors to present in newpaper based on monetary benefits and to popularize.
From the past experience people feel that more bad news were printed than the good ones.Also there is a feeling among many that good news will change
the people thoughts to be positive.

I read your essay and have few suggestions.
I think you have mentioned a lot about what news papers and television media does but your essay does not seem to capture the effects of these bad news. The only things that seemed to be mentioned is wrong motivation that people get form bad news. Instead I think you can mentioned about positive attitude that will happen when people read good news.
You can mention some of the recent things that has happened. For example, when the Malaysian flight went missing it was all over the news, it went on for days. However when India launched Mangalaya, it was just a one day one page news.
Give more examples and its effects.

I strongly believe that spreading goodpositive news to people will surely motivate them to achieve for their owntheir goals and also for thehelp theircountry. It would also help to seed (spread?) moral value for the whole community and world.
