Economical stress, lack of jobs - California University help

Economical stress, the lack of jobs in my family, caring teachers, a helpful community, and true friends have inspired me to receive a Bachelor's of Science degree from a California University. I have always had caring teachers who would sacrifice their time for my success throughout my high school career. My friends would always motivate me when I am about to quit on something, because they know what I am capable of. My family has always had economical problems since my father hasn't been able to hold a job for too long and mother left when I was five, but my community would never let us get to the streets. Since I have always had moral support from all sources, it is my duty to show everyone what I am truly capable of and how I could help others by receiving a higher education.

Many times in my academic life, I have run across problems which I have not been able to solve on my own. At stressful times like this, whether it is in the subject of English, Math, Spanish, History, or Science, my instructors are always there to guide me through the right path. There has not been one time where I have needed a teacher help and I have not received it. They are always there for me. At one point in my Algebra Two class during my junior year I found myself struggling with a concept. My teacher Jack Rothrock sacrificed his whole lunch break to help me succeed. I have always appreciated what my teachers have to offer me and it motivates me in becoming a successful person.

When I struggle in life and I am not getting help from a teacher, I am getting help from friends. My true friends are always by my side when I need them. One day I decided to get my brother a car for his graduation gift, but the car I was getting him was three hours away from my house. My friend Mark gave me a ride all the way to Sacramento and back just so I can go get the car. Not many people are so generous and I appreciate having such valuable friends. Although I get help from my friends, most of the time it is the other way around, my friends need my help. I appreciate the fact that I can help others and I like the feeling of accomplishment. Since I love to help others, I feel that it's important for me to get a higher education which would enable me to know excessive amounts of information.

Aside from mentors and friends, my family also inspires me to get a good quality education. My family acts more as a symbol to me rather than a mentor. We have been through many economical crises and the fact that my father never got a college education plays a key role in it. Since he doesn't have a high education, and he has a DUI record makes it hard for him to find a job. I think about what would happen if the same would happen to me. Although I do not drink there is a possibility that I would not find a good enough job to support my family. These factors have produced a dream for me which is to get a Bachelor's of Science degree.
