As I was reading the mission for San Francisco University I felt very connected with the environment of this school and I remember how it felt helping the little kids understand the meanings of the prayers and give them knowledge of who god is. While I was studying to receive my confirmation, I help children understand the meaning of god and help them learn their prayers so they can receive their First Communion. This was one of the most interesting feelings I had when I was in the classroom helping the young children.
Attending this university ill make sure that its mission becomes mine as well. This mission would mean a lot to me cause it's also something I can bring back to my community. It would help me develop another way of life that I can become more professional and a better person. I would like to help the world become more successful and live in a where faith and justice exist. I enjoy been catholic, it shapes up the way I have grown. The beliefs, values and family traditions that I have are the foundations of who I am. As I acquired more knowledge of the Jesuit Catholic tradition, I would help others in anything they need. I always thought helping others would help me gain a higher success and a brighter future because everything pays off. I don't only want to help people study but also help children educating them with the same beliefs and knowledge that I have. I think everyone should have the same opportunity to be educated, because at the end we are all equal. I think this can be a way of helping and bringing something to the university because it would be developing a leader and someone who is respected.
The sensation I felt when I was helping children learn about god and learn the meaning of the prayers was very fascinating. Going to this school for me would have the same impact on my life because I would be able to do the same thing and also learn more about the Jesuit Catholic tradition. I would share and in courage other people to do the same because one has a greater knowledge when you learn about your own religion. I also felt connected with the mission statement because helping these children I also learn new skills that made me a better person. I acquired the skills of being able to teach something that many people don't like to learn about, but I made it fun and interesting because I thought I was important to teach them.
Overall, I think that attending the University of San Francisco I would be able to carry out its mission by allowing myself to learn, know it and teach it. Making it my own mission it also allows me to better myself and learn new thing about me. After being a professional, I would be able to bring the knowledge and skills back to my community and teach younger people about the good of going to a University like yours. I would also tell them the benefits and experience that I would have. To carry out the mission of the University of San Francisco would be a great honor and pride because its goes with my own set of beliefs and values and traditions.
