Virtually all of Stanford's undergraduates live on campus. Write a note to your future roommate that reveals something about you or that will help your roommate - and us - know you better.

Dear roommate,
Ya'at'eeh! I'm Cora Tso. I am from the great state of Arizona; I grew up in a small community in Northern Arizona called Shonto. What's great about this is that it's located on the Navajo reservation. As you can guess, I am a part of the Navajo tribe though my light-skinnedness may steer you wrong! Being Native, I have a rich history behind me and I hope to soon learn about yours.

Graduating a year early from high school makes me younger than most but don't let that fool you, I catch on quick! I love playing sports, volleyball is my absolute favorite and the best sport ever invented (you may quote me on this!) My brother may well describe me as eccentric because I sing Christmas songs in the spring and wear the same "Fitz Knows" shirt every football Sunday for the hopes of a win for my Cardinals. As Optimus Prime once said, "There's more to me than meets the eye."

I'm the kind of girl that can be described as a geek because I quote from random movies and can tell you how Gandalf the Grey came to be Gandalf the White. On the other hand, I've been told I am a very regal person that knows what it takes to get the job done effectively. If I ever do not wake for an early morning class, please make any and every attempt to try to wake me- I just love my sleep! I will go with you to your club meetings as long as you come with me to my intramural sports.

Overall, I'm a freshman who is greatly looking forward to rooming with you for our future years here at Stanford. I cannot wait to meet you and bond with you. I'm sure that we will not just share the room but our experiences and memories together, which I welcome with open arms!

P.S. I already took the right side of the room, I hope you don't mind!

*I can take any criticism, please help me polish this! :)

I want to meet you :) haha. This is very well written, and from this letter I can tell that you are a diligent student who is passionate about what you're doing. My suggestion is that you should use evidences to show who you are instead of telling straightfowardly.

Hope it helps!
