University of Florida Essay..can any one help me?

This is the Essay topic for UF. Does anyone know if this has to be based on true even or can it be made up(but realistic)?

i'm sure it can be made up but u want to make sure that you sound genuine, i'm applying to UF aswell

dont go overboard and make up a crazy story
just make it believable
but if i were you i would just write about something true
cus you would knwo the most about it
unless ur a really good fiction writer
