COMMON APP SHORT ESSAY WOULDN'T SAVE!

My short answer essay is 147 words, but the system shows that it is too long to be saved!!!!!
ANY SOLUTIONS?????

okay so do you have lots of space marks anywhere because those sometimes screw up the word count.

well if the system says it's too long to be saved, it is either too long to be saved, or there is a bug with the system. Though I doubt the latter, you can try saving again at a later time. If it still doesn't work you might have gone over the limit. Use some sort of word processor to count it.

For the word count I simply use microsoft word. If you are using wrd2007 simply, you just have to select (highlight) your essay, and voi-la! On the bottom of the screen you will see info. If you are using wrd2003 - just click "tools" and find something relevant to the "word count".
