(*)(100 words or fewer)The below is a first draft; I think it needs a conclusive sentence, so suggestions are welcome! It's 3 words over the limit, so if I'm being too wordy in one part, feel free to comment!Cooking is an experiment I don't have to write a lab report for. It is the only type of experiment where I eat the result (usually, depending on how much I burn it). The mechanical processes of chopping and measuring marinate beautifully with the excitement of flavor and spices. Anger can be taken out when kneading bread dough, sadness remedied with a nice bowl of soup. Every mistake is educational; raw onions and hard-boiled eggs don't go together, be careful with converting recipe sizes or else you'll end up with 4 gallons of milk and 2 servings of mashed potatoes in one pot.

The mechanical processes of chopping, measuring the marinate, and mixing the ingredients with flavors and spices can be a zen like experience. Anger can be taken out by kneading bread dough, sadness remedied with a nice bowl of soup. Every mistake is educational; raw onions and hard-boiled eggs don't go together, be careful with converting recipe sizes or else you'll end up with 4 gallons of milk and 2 servings of mashed potatoes in one pot.I hope this version works for you :-)
