Question 1: Why do you wish to study in Canada in the program of which you have been accepted?
Canada has one of the best quality education in the world. Their quality of education is well known in the world today. They provide a safe and secure environment for all the international student. Canadian standard of living, culture, education has attract millions of international students every year. The universities their also provide world class education at a great reasonable price. A Canadian world class degree, diploma or certificate is globally recognized which encourages me to study there. Also the University professors are highly skilled and their way of teaching on the program will be extraordinary. I have always taken an interest of studying in Canada as their both standard of living and quality of education is remarkable. Studying in Canada can help to learn many things, I can learn their culture, meet new people and learn many things by cooperating with them. Canada have also great political stability and great place for students to live in.
Question 2 : What is your overall educational goal?
I have been studying in an english medium school since my childhood, I completed my Olevels under Cambridge International Examination and A'levels under Edexcel.
I have taken all business subjects including economics, business studies and commerce and attained good grades on them. I also have good grades on the compulsory subjects. I am sitting for my A'levels exam this June and my statement of entry for the examination is also included with the paper. I was in Mastermind school from 2000-2009 and then I shifted to Bangladesh International Tutorial school. From there I have completed my A'levels and did my O'levels from Red Brick School. My Academic transcript is also given. I have chosen Business as my primary course and I have planned to do my higher education with it. I plan to study Bachelor of Commerce and after completion of my studies I wish to do Masters in Business. I have great interest of studying in business as I was alway very curious learning about the global business and marketing and this is why I have taken business as my primary subject. Studying in business will enhance my future career opportunities as this program is very highly respected and demanded in Bangladesh. It will be very helpful in operating business with proper guidance and efficient management.
Question 3 : Why are you not pursuing a similar program in your country of residence?
As the quality and education system of my homeland is not well enough comparing to the educational system in Canada. As also the Certificate attaining from foreign university will be advantageous as I will be able to get many benefits from my country. Canada having an outstanding global academic reputation and strong ranking in global standards. Canada has always been my dream, their culture, living style, people never failed to amaze and excite me. Also my full family supports and encourages me to achieve my high education from a Canadian University. As my future plan is to return home and take hold my father's business, seek for expansion. In order to do so getting the high standard education from Canada will be a huge advantage as I can gain a lot of experience, lesson and learn many things from there. All these things will not be possible if I stay back in my home country to study. Most important thing is studying abroad will help me to become complete independent , I will be ready to take more responsibilities and all. Also to get a top job at a great company or workplace in my country, chances are we are going to need a foreign university degree or certificate. It will prove that we will be perfect to chosen field and we can commit ourself, can manage our time and are qualified to do the job. A Certificate from abroad will be highly accepted for getting any jobs in Bangladesh. The education system in Bangladesh is quite good as well but its a big advantage if I complete my education from Canada. Canada has one of the best quality education in the world and this has always encouraged me to pursue my higher education from there. The professors in Bangladesh is not as specialized as they are in Canada. The university business faculty have advance teaching system which is not available in our country. They also offer Co-op facility which can help students to gain experience. Bangladesh political situation is unstable creating may problems for students and create huge disruption in our education. Whereas, Canada is great political stability which is another important reason of why I want to pursue my higher education in Canada.
Question 4: How will this program enhance your employment opportunities in your country of Citizenship:
I am the eldest son of my parents, my dad is an entrepreneur and runs a well established export oriented business in our country. I have future plans that after completing my education on this program , return home and take care of my dad's industry. This program will help me achieve all my goals and objectives that i have in my mind. I see myself fulfilling all the wishes of my parents, family members and relatives. Pursuing the best education system and this is why I chose to study in Canada. As that exquisite country has always been my dream to study in. A business degree in hand will give me an instant advantage to establish my business among the competition. Building or running a business certainly takes some natural talent, but immersing myself in the knowledge of business management, for example, can take that talent to the next level. And I believe in myself that after completing my education from Canada I will be able to do something unique and put myself in a very high respected position. And as Bangladesh is a developing economy which is growing really fast, it have very bright future prospects of large business setting up both transnational and domestic Corporation I think studying on this particular program will be highly valued and demanded. Business degree program will teach us critical thinking and problem solving skills. Our mind will be sharp and quick to deal with tough situations and find the smoothest way out. There will always be a contingency plan sort out to deal with unexpected problems. They also have best professors specialized teaching the program I have chosen to study. I believe this program will be a huge advantage for my employment opportunities. Also successful completion of an international degree from a renowned university in abroad is more admirable in our country.
Question 5: What ties do you have to your country of residence/ citizenship :
I am a citizen of Bangladesh, both born and raised here as i'm citizen by birth.
I come from a very well known and respectable family of Bangladesh having strong family, social and of course economic ties in Bangladesh.
My Father 'Aminul Islam Babul' a businessman my profession. He is the Managing director of our Company ' Ankur Packaging and accessories LTD'. My mother 'Israt Jahan' she is Chairman of our company. I am the eldest among my 2 brothers. My younger brother ' Hasibul Islam Shad' and the youngest 'Afsanul Islam Raiyan'
My 2nd brother goes to Delhi Public School and is studying in grade 9 under Cambridge International Examination Board. My youngest brother Afsanul Islam Raiyan is disabled from birth. As because of that he is not able to attend school. I Anas Islam Ankur is currently a student of grade 12 in Bangladesh International tutorial.
I have 15 years of schooling life and completed every class with good exam results. We have sufficient tangible and intangible assets to finance my expenses. We currently live in Dhaka city in our own house. All my relatives also lives in dhaka city. I assure you that on completion of my course, I will return back to my native land and take care of my father's industries. And as I am the eldest child of my parents I have a lot of responsibilities. As we have our own business and got properties too. I will have to join my business to support it to grow more. Thus I want to serve my country best with my unique knowledge, abilities and skills by creating more business opportunities and providing unique business ideas after completing my education in Canada.
