Why did you choose to apply to UCF?
As we enter our last year of secondary education, my fellow classmates are thinking about their future plans and what lies ahead of them. As these students nervously scurry around contemplating where they would like to attend school, I already have come to a decision. Ever since I was introduced to sports I have displayed interest in the University of Central Florida. Now after multiple visits to the campus of the University of Central Florida, I was determined to become a knight. From their top ranked business program, to their student organizations, The University of Central Florida had everything that I would need to excel in today's society. What caught my eye was when my tour guide had told my group that the University of Central Florida was named among the best business schools by the Princeton Review. As I pace myself through the journey to become a business major, I find that the University of Central Florida can end my quest. Wanting to learn more about University of Central Florida, I learned how they have over ten business related clubs that I can join to voice my ideas with fellow peers. As I now enter the next stage in becoming an adult, I feel strongly that the University of Central Florida is the best way to challenge myself while furthering my education towards a business major. With all of the recognition that the business program receives, I have my eyes set on earning my degree from the University of Central Florida.
What qualities or unique characteristics do you possess that would allow you to contribute to the UCF community?
Entering a whole new environment such as the University of Central Florida can become a challenge for students to adapt to. In a situation in which most people would fear change, I am assured that my qualities such as being diligent, inquisitive, and outspoken will allow me to adapt into the UCF community. Ever since I was a child, I was set on raising the bar after every accomplishment and to always stay dedicated. Whether the goal involved sports, school, or contributing to the society, I would always strive to produce the best work possible. Being diligent has helped me earn Dean's List throughout my schooling, and offer the best community service I can offer while still managing to increase the rigor in my journey beyond college. By being inquisitive and outspoken, I am always wondering on what to improve and how to improve it. I am always curious on how to better my surroundings and the community that I am a part of. I follow the saying that "You learn something new every day", which I why I am eager to research knowledge and share it with the people around me. I enjoy the challenges that I am faced with and the curiosity it brings when working towards an answer. Being outspoken allows me to voice my opinion and work with other people that are willing to collaborate to find an answer or idea which can help UCF stand out among other colleges.
