Essay Question: Has there been any significant experience that changed the way you live?

This essay is quite messy because I had to rush it.
My problems with this essay are the lack of parts, grammar and correct placement of the words.
I know this is a handful but this essay is for my dream college.

"Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me"
After being tricked, a person should be wary about the choices they must take in order to be a wiser individual
- Insert an example of a person who was tricked twice
Betray is (meaning? And possible effect)
There was once a boy who experienced all of this a week before his graduation where one fight with his friend would changed how he lived his life

he wanted to play games with his friends and all of them agreed to play except for one who always thought lowly of the boy and asked him to leave

Then the boy left crying and simply walked away though his friends tried to comfort him he simply shrugged them off and leave them with having anything to change

Months has passed since the incident, the friend felt guilty for what he has done to the boy.
He wanted to ask forgiveness for the mistake he has done
The boy still doubtful accepted his apology and became friends again but it didn't last long till another fight occurred and it lasted the whole school year

The friend knew he needed a way to avoid the boy and to find the courage to ask forgiveness once more
Two years has passed the friend came to his old school and confronted the boy but this time he wanted to go back from the start as acquaintances.

That incident the boy started to act more responsibly and taught himself how to control his emotions by wearing a mask whenever he need it, but he also learned how to choose his decisions and friends and promised himself to live his life to the fullest

Losing a friend is like losing a part of you
Being betrayed is essential to one's personal growth, it indirectly molds us into a mature individuals to be able to confront the reality of the world

Negative events are always hurtful to a person but sometimes we have to look of the fences
Friends - should we draw boundaries in front of us and simply hide from the truth?
