No copy essays / Self-censorship / applying to 10 schools - some questions

I stumbled upon this site looking for essay examples, and this site seems very useful.
I am about to be a senior in high school and I'm currently writing essays for EA.
I do have a couple questions about this site and other things, though.

1) How is it ENSURED that nobody will copy our essays?

2) I have been suspended my sophomore year for something I won't want to speak publicly about. How should I approach writing an essay for that?

3) How do people on here feel like applying to about 10 schools (5 reaches, 4 matches, 1 safety)

Thanks!

Someone might copy your essay. All throughout life people can copy your intellectual property. The best you can do is to establish your ownership, which is why you should use your real name when you register for essayforum. That way, if there ever is any question of ownership someone can google the essay and see it here next to your name.

If you apply to ten schools, adjust your essay and/or application letter each time so that it is tailored to the school that receives it. Doing all that work will surely pay off.

Do you need to write an essay about having been suspended? Maybe you should focus on the more positive things. If you do write about it, write about it as an important learning experience.

At any rate, focus on your CLEAR PLAN FOR THE FUTURE.

:-)

I'm glad you are writing with us here.
