8 Min Presentation for a Scholarship Program- Need some advice

Hi Guys,

As part of the application for a scholarship I need to come up with an 8 minute presentation and its subject needs to divide the public opinion so that the others can debate other 8 minutes on this certain topic. In fact, the presentation should be more like a prelude to the debate... The task says that the subject was supposed to be unique, interesting and creative.

Which topic do you think would fit all these criteria? So far I could think of these topics:
-Is animal testing a bad thing? (it was banned from the EU last week...)
-Is any of the economic systems better than the others? Do we need a new one?
-Global warming: real threat or just imagined?
-There are no bad children, just bad parents
-Is the world develping or is it just changing?
-Do we need space exploration?

I would be glad if you could give me some advice.

" There are no bad children, just bad parents" or "Is the world developing or it just changing?". In these topics, the audience can debate effectively because it's familiar also interesting with us. You just need to look for some new ideas in these topics to attract to others. Fighting!!!
