Directly after graduation I worked as a business counselor in VBI village business incubator the first incubator established in ... that support micro entrepreneurs of female community which is a a service centre for the development of female entrepreneurship in nine villages of the .... Governorate, and also promote women's active role in the labour market through the creation of small/micro scale viable and self sustainable value added enterprises... an opportunity to unlock women's potential to become active agents of the socio-economic.
I had the chance to face challenges for two years supporting women in their income generating activities and get deep knowledge about this community . I was proud that I am one among few others who had the opportunity to be involved in such new field of work environment in the country.
But the project where I find my it gave me the obvious experience related to the social working is WEPA project " women empowerment &poverty alleviation " funded by UN .
In spite of I worked in this project as a loan officer but I have involved in social department which was the most important one in the project. I was responsible for the southern region in the country that's mean I have four governorates to deal with on of them ...
Poverty as it is defined by the UN organization made us supporting women by three packages of services: health, social work and financial services.
As a loan officer I always remember when I matched loan issuing with social objectives we characterize as a teamwork in this area , and that has a effects on the community thinking I was emphasizing that there will not be loan issuing for beneficiaries if it is proved that their children have drawn from primary schools , the same goes to beneficiaries themselves if they were illiterate .on the other hand I was giving advantages for women who demonstrated constructive and strong personality that crosses with social objectives nice example on that when I decided to exempt their loan from interest rates if they present legal document prove s that these women have properties lands , houses.... i.e. they have inherited them from their families and this is a very critical and thorny issue in .... women inherited properties . 95% of... women has no properties belong to them inheriting from parents especially in rural areas.
This is exactly what makes me interesting in your master program since it let me has broader vision in adapting new approach of policy making that affect on macro level.
I think my existence in this master would be for its benefit due to the long experience and unique subjects I dealt with , along with my enthusiasm for researching to obtain new approaches in social work that facilitate and support policy making in determine what .... society need exactly on social level.
I will fully devoted myself to this program and ready to get this challenge because I am single and I already have my family support , I do not need more than this but to demonstrate my competences gaining in my past education and experience in this program.
