Dear Sir/Madam,
Through studying at the high school, I came to realize the need to develop my personal characteristics and skills and learn to apply the knowledge throughout my education. This thought has led me to apply for BYU as a university on high level and perfect qualifications. It is the one in which I feel most capable of excelling.
The reason I am applying for the USA is the fact that this country is the cradle of all knowledge. Furthermore, studying at the BYU saves a lot of precious time for the fact that the Bachelors degree can be completed within 4 years, as opposed to 5 years in Jordan.
My goal is that in four years, I would have a Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and become a leading expert in the field of cars or factory's machines, after obtaining a Bachelor's degree, I intend to continue with my studies and obtain master and PhD degree. The program at your university helps me greatly in achieving my goal, through giving me valuable knowledge that is most relevant to my professional outlooks. For instance, it helps in preparing me to take professional qualifications.
Outside studying, I am active and full of energy. I enjoy traveling to different countries. Also, I enjoy playing soccer and kick boxing as I hope playing in BYU soccer team or track team , I read every day as this is something that I find beneficial in improving my general knowledge and provides me with an opportunity to spend some time on my own.
In conclusion, I hope to get the scholarship and attain my dreams as well as to serve BYU in everything.
