In my 10 years of teaching experience I have known other students with talent equivalent to Jack. Many of them lacked his commitment and dedication in class. Jack has an extremely sound work ethic and is hard working when it comes to his art. I feel confident that he will continue to succeed in his studies in art. Jack is a dedicated student and thus far his grades in his studio classes have been exemplary.
Jack has worked hard to hone his foundational skill sets to execute his vision. His work has become more focused, while at the same time, more complex over the short year he has been with us. What he needs now is the kind of exposure which he will get at mickeys school of art BFA program.

Overall, I really liked your letter. There are somethings I would change though such as don't repeat Jack too much, but sometimes when you do, you could throw in his last name in too.
