Ethics College Class, Paper on Moral Courage (what to write about?)

I have to write a research paper on a person who has shown moral courage who has faced personal risk (psychological, social or financial) by decision to act j accordance with their own inner moral compass. I am having trouble figuring out who to write about, i been looking online for a site that list people but unable to find one. i was thinking about writing about someone that has done moral courage with dogs.

This sounds like a very interesting essay to write! What about dogs in the military, the morals behind bomb sniffing dogs, and whether you think using them for such a dangerous job is wrong? Or police dogs and their handlers? Have fun with this, then send it here for an edit.
