I need a thesis for technology and how it has changed the way people learn answers: 5 amvtop10Threads: 1Posts: 4Author: Hi Bye May 14, 2011, 05:09pm #1 I need help in wording this into a thesis. So, I am doing my research project on technology. What I am trying to explain with technology is like technology has changed the way people learn. Like for example, people don't need to ask a teacher for help anymore or don't need to go to the library to find information. or meet up with someone for help. They can do it online. Or text. Cellphones etc.But I also need more ideas because I don't think I can write a 15 page paper with just how technology changed the way people learn. Also when writing a research paper. Can you support both side? Like though technology helps people it is also bad for ones health. start208Threads: 15Posts: 94Author: Ismail lad [Suspended] May 14, 2011, 06:19pm #2 Hello there;See this simple introduction and try to enlarge it. ( it would also be better if you comment it; we may discuss it together). It goes without saying that technology has been envancing the way people learn and makes it easy and more exciting than ever. No more fear from going to school early, meet teachers and waste time looking for books on large library shelves. Nowadays with the new technology people save time, money and energy. They can do huge number of important things in short time, with simple click while stying in their beds. However, technology has got a number of disadvantages. amvtop10Threads: 1Posts: 4Author: Hi Bye May 14, 2011, 08:17pm #3 Actually that was a good introduction. Now I don't want to do the disadvanages . I want to speak about all the advanage about technology with the way we learn. But how would I do this? They said I need sources. So what should I be looking for? EF_KevinThreads: 11Posts: 14,089Author: You can help a lot of people by visiting the "Unanswered" threads! [Contributor] 60 May 16, 2011, 12:57pm #4 Well, you have a good example right here. We have an online learning community, so you can use forums as an example. Also, when you talk about SOURCES it means you need to find books and articles. Use professional journal articles. For example, search your school library database for these terms: learning, technology, educationIf you find some articles using those terms, you can write a paragraph about what the author says. Write a paragraph about the main idea of each article. When you do that, your paper will be very strong. Try searching the school database for this, too: new, technology, learning, students, "changing the way":-) Jennifer ZhangThreads: 9Posts: 45Author: Jennifer Zhang May 18, 2011, 11:48pm #5 Hi!advantages:Interenet--learn any time, anywehere, flexible;adjust to your own schedule and habitsdisadvantages:no face-to-face communication with teachers; only a delivery of knowledge, but no methods; impair eyesight; no experience of collaboration with other students:) abovebluesThreads: 2Posts: 10Author: John K May 19, 2011, 12:15am #6 in response to Jennifer Zhang's disadvantages: no face-to-face communication with teachers- programs like skype can connect you face-to-face with teachers from around the world that you otherwise wouldn't have met.only a delivery of knowledge but no methods- simply untrue, any delivery of knowledge has a method to it. check out the khan academy, or similar youtube schoolsimpair eyesight- yes, I guess you've got me there. print out your materials if necessary.no experience of collaboration with other students- what are we doing on this forum?OP, use these common misconceptions to construct some great arguments in your paper.
