Isai, welcome to EssayForum! I googled around but did not find the 4cs. Will you list them or explain them somehow?

If you tell me what the 4cs are, I'll try to help you get started! :-)
Is there a book or article you can recommend to help me understand?

Greetings and Good Day to you !

Im glad to hear from you.

4cs = Clarity,Conciseness,Completeness,Correctness

To achieve this goal, writers apply the 4 C's of writing:
clarity,
conciseness,
completeness, and
correctness.

Clarity : is achieved when the receiver understands a message as the sender intended.Word choice, unity, and coherence affect clarity; each of these will now be explained.

Concise : messages are only long enough to present all of the necessary information. The key to writing concise messages, ones that are brief yet effective, is to make every word count. Limit repetition, eliminate excess words, emphasize verbs, and use active verbs.

Completeness : A message is complete when all information necessary for a receiver to understand is included. What information is "necessary" depends on the writing situation.Be sure you have asked and answered who? what? when? where? why? and how? questions.

Correctness : Writing is correct when content and mechanics are accurate.Grammar and punctuation errors can affect meaning and create a poor impression of writers.Check grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Seek someone's help to make sure your writing is correct.

I couldn't find any related Literature Review for this topic.

Oh.. I see. Here is my idea:

1.) Find 5 books/articles/websites about composition, writing, style, etc. (make sure you find Strunk & White The Elements of Style)
2.) Look through them to find examples of advice about each of the c's.
3.) Write a paragraph about every example of advice that pertains to one of the c's.
****Correctness is sometimes called accuracy.
Soon, you will have several paragraphs for each of the c's.

Go back to the top and write an introduction that expresses a THEME. The theme will be the cool insight you gained from writing those paragraphs.

:-)

You don't trouble me, friend. You are the reason I'm here! And I'm glad to help, but I'm afraid I made a mistake. I did not realize this was for a project at the masters level. At this level, you need to come up with an idea for SOLVING A PROBLEM (i.e. in the field of education if that is your chosen field) or improve practice in your field. First you need to notice a problem. What is the problem?

That is the most important thing. Before you can make a meaningful change, you need to show that there is a problem.

So, let's look at this topic:

Application of 4cs in writing skills among the Intensive English.

This seems like it is already a SOLUTION to a problem. It seems like it is the product of someone else's research. So, you should look for a WAY YOU CAN HELP in your field. What can you write that will be very meaningful for anyone in your field? How about combining 2 concepts: the 4cs and some other topic that interests you.

How about this: The problem is that we do not know how ELL students interpret the "4 c's" when they learn about them.

"What happens when the 4 c's are taught to English language-learners between the ages of 18 and 24 whose primary language is Malay?"
**** You can interview English language learners about the 4 c's and use GROUNDED THEORY to analyze their interview data.

You will need to do some research about grounded theory in order to use interview research.

No, I'm not Malaysian, but I wish I was Malaysian! That would be cool :-D
I'm from Boston, and I studied English, eastern philosophy, & psychology. Glad to meet you!
