For my English assignment, I need to identify poetic elements in "To an Athlete Dying Young" and "On the Death of Me. Robert Levet, A Practiser in Physics". Some of those elements are assonance, consonance, repetition, external and internal rhyme, imagery, alliteration, similes, metaphors, personification, ect...

Great assignment! Okay, so... type 1 sentence about each of these elements. Then, look for each element in the poems. That means you have to read both poems and search for assonance. Then, read them again and search for consonance.

It will really teach you a lot about the elements. I hope you can enjoy it! Do you have any questions about the elements or poems?

:-)
