Need help with comparative essay between Hamlet and the Great Gatsby

I have to choose 3 characters from each book to compare and contrast, so far I have Gertrude and Daisy who else can I compare to show that characters conceal their real identity to be excepted as good in society

Hamlet and Gatsby Hamlet acts crazy to trys and kill Claudius thus concealing his real desire to kill Claudius from everyone. Gatsby acts like he has always had money when he is trying to hide that he was poor at one time to get revenge and get Daisy back.

Thanx alot would jordan and claudious be a good comparison for a this thesis "human beings do not always portray their real identities, rather they appear to be someone their society deems apporiate

my strategy is like this: Write about the characters you understand the best, and search for points of comparison and contrast. You can relate any three people in any stories. The trick is to relate all characters to a common concept... a concept that glues them all together. It does not have to be something they all have in common... just something they can all be discussed in relation to. :-)
