Dear Sir/ Madam
First I would like to express my appreciation for the opportunity to apply for this Master course. I hold a degree in Urban Engineering from the Hanoi Architectural University of Vietnam.
At the high education level, 2nd rank ( mark of 9,3/10) of thesis score among fellow students, which researched on " Urban Traffic Planning of Pleiku City", was best outstanding result of my wholehearted exertion. This project not only has improved the direction of the latter thesis but also applied 60 percents into practice of Pleiku City planning project. The opportunity to had the honor of assisting as a project manager position for both a consulting leader as Tedi company (Vietnam) and Nippon Koei (Japan) in The No.3 National Road Project (From Hanoi city to Thainguyen province, 61.3 km length, funded by JBIC Japan Bank for International Cooperation, budget USD 430 millions).
After graduation, I worked as a consulting engineer at Hanoi Construction Consulting and Investment JSC which are the prestige company in the field of urban and infrastructure planning in previous as well as a project manager at Dongtien Trading and Urban Development at the latter. Thanks to experiences working with a great deal of prestige foreign investment and construction companies, I has sharpened my critical thinking, problem solving and communications skills.
My objective is to pursue the Msc in Urban Planning, taught entirely in English, plus living and breathing the international atmosphere and integrating with English and German speaking people in order to develop a third language. This is undoubtedly one of the motivations for studying in a country as multicultural as Germany. More significantly, that Vietnam is a developing country has generated various weaknesses in urban structure and infrastructure system which are illogical comprehension planning and zoning, traffic jams, downgrading of urban road, water drainage and environmental pollution. Thus, it is undoubtedly that my professional projects after completing the Master program in German is to record much more tools in urban planning and certain level of knowledge in society management which shall create opportunity and confidence necessary to work and contribute to the innovation of my region.
The opportunity to pursue a master's course in Germany represents the next important challenge in my life and momentous milestone to step up onto PhD situation. The last two years have taught me that studying and living abroad can help not only broaden my horizons but also accelerate my personal and academic growth as well. The main reasons for choosing is The university of .... is the high quality of education that the institution offers, the opportunity of meeting and associating with people from all over the world and to be immersed in a society with a global outlook and a model to be followed in my viewpoint.
In concluding, Irrespective of high application prerequisites of this Master course, I am determined to make the most out of this Master course benefits. My international background and interdisciplinary education will add more diversity to program. Furthermore, I will optimize my stay at The University ... to garner a wealth of ideas that will immediately apply when I return to my country and at the same time contribute to the University's diversity.

This looks very nice. As I'm sure you are aware, there are some places where the grammar suffers a bit and I didn't correct every error of that nature. Your strengths, intents and purposes have been very clearly illustrated and I think said university would be lucky to have somebody so passionate. To have an English tudor at your side may be helpful, but as far as this letter goes I think you have stated your interest quite well and I wish you the best of luck!
