The teaching experiences that I have thus far have proved to be rewarding and fitting to my personality. As a substitute teacher, volunteer educator abroad, community outreach intern and naturalist guide, I have been able to engage in varied learning environments. A flexibility nature provides me with the capacity to walk into an unknown learning environment, analysis and adjust to the situation, to foster a productive and eager classroom. My experience in education has been cross-cultural, both as a student of language and as a teacher to ESL learners. Teaching and learning about people and culture gives me a great sense of purpose. Fulfill substitute assignments across most subject areas, effectively teaching and facilitating a positive learning environment for students K-12. Work with students of varied socioeconomic backgrounds, academic abilities, including English learners.
