Yesterday I dared to struggle. Today I dare to win.
People are talking about success every single day. However, we all have our own way to it, choosing between fun and work, studies and professional experience. Personally I am strongly convinced that it is almost impossible to become a high-level professional without an appropriate level of studies. This is the main reason why I am applying for a Master's degree at Radboud University.
Success is a key word for me and from early childhood I am learning how to achieve it, to overcome difficulties and admit defenses. From primary school to getting a Bachelor degree I have been trying to be on top.
Studies at School of Business and Management of Technologies of Belarusian State University have given me a necessary theoretical base, knowledge of English and interest in Marketing. Even now, when I am in my last year I have a chance to work at Marketing Department to get necessary skills and experience.
Throughout my University years I have led a number of projects. I am a chief editor of the School newspaper, which was awarded a number of times on national contests. I was also a team leader of an educational project for high school students, called "School of Young Entrepreneur" and took part in the organization of student business conferences. All these activities gave me a chance to develop myself and get such skills as project managing, team work, presentation and communication skills. I consider them as the best practical experience.
Beginning from my fourth year of studies I started working, as I had a desire to become a valuable specialist by the end of my University years. That's why I started working as an office manager in EPAM System, the largest outsourcing company in Belarus. This work gave me an understanding of corporate culture and Information Technology sphere.
Now I lead a number of Marketing projects in different spheres, but primarily in the field of Digital and Internet Marketing. Therefore, I am willing to get my Master's degree at Radboud University to deepen appropriate knowledge and skills from different parts of Marketing in order to become a high-level specialist.
However, I do realize that the most interesting field for me is Marketing from its different sides: analytics, promotion, public relations, commercials, etc. This is the reason why I am applying for the scholarship for Master's degree in Economics with specialization in Marketing. With the help of these studies I am going to become a high-level professional in the chosen sphere. In Belarus there are not so many really good marketing specialists, as it has just started developing here. Therefore, I have a chance to become a unique and valuable specialist and build a strong and successful career.
I have chosen Radboud University as it provides its students with the opportunities I have been looking for. It offers Master's degree in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing, which is perfect for me as it is exactly what I study in my home University. Moreover, Radboud University offers good opportunities for intertanional students, for example, Radboud University Scholarship I am applying for.
In short, by choosing to study at Radboud University, I will benefit greatly from getting a unique experience for building up my professional career, and help to build up an effective economy system in Belarus, my homeland.
I know that my way to my career has just started. And I will have to achieve a lot of aims. But if I dare to struggle today, one day I will dare to win. And nothing can be better for me. So I am ready to start a struggle right now.
