Hotel manager put him up in the motel and paid for that. Manager is offering any weekend of his choice next season.and giving him 12 free drink coupons and 4 dinner coupons. and $3000 deposit for past weekend. Fri, Sat and Sunday Checkout. (These are the clues are my teacher told me for the letter)

Then give a general idea to a reader about the problem (lack of available room). At the beginning a reader should know the letter is going to talk about what issue. After that u should explain about the problem (why this problem has been created, u should also talk about the costs such as 3000 deposit over past weekends, free drink etc). At the next part of the letter, you should ask what u want form the reader of the letter, and u should also suggest some solutions for raising the problem.RegardsAhmad

Then talk about your actions to rectify the situation. You should write in a manner that convince the client that you are honest and your apology is ethical.You can get loads of help if you google for apology letters. Do your letter and post it to the forum if you need our comments :)
