Hi, I am a Hong Kong secondary student with poor English.
I have written an article about world peace and international understanding.
The article requirements are 1.sate briefly why world peace is important,and 2. suggest three ways in which young people can help to promote international understanding.
In fact, I do think that the article is out of topic,but still hope that you can give me some suggestions.(especially the grammar and usage)

Do you know what the wish people constantly have? It is, with no doubt, peace. No matter Xmas or even your birthday, people always hope that the world is peaceful. That peace is important is incontestable.
With the peace, our quality of life can be improved. It is evident that we are living in a safety, stable, friendly environment owing to the stable relationship between the countries, and peace plays an vital role in the stable relationship. Thanks to the stable relationship between countries, we can travel abroad, buy international companies' product, and even enjoy different countries' food. Imagine what would happen if we do not have peace, can we still enjoy these things? Therefore, peace is the first step toward a high quality of life. Furthermore, without the peace, wars will be nurtured easily. Wars lead to millions of people dead. Not only do soldiers sacrifice themselves to protect their country, innocent citizens also lose their life. Don't you remember how many people dead during World War One and Two? Advocate the peace and stop the silly wars with no delay!
To achieve peaceful, international is the root and fundamental action we should take. Here are just a few ways on the list of helping young people to promote international understanding.
The first one is being concerned about the news worldwide. Young people nowadays are mainly concerned about fashions, entertainments and pop starts. Rarely do they watch the news, despite the free time they have, their understanding toward the world therefore remains at a low level. Only via concerning the world's news can young people know what is happening. They can know the policies, laws and the regulations of other countries. With these knowledge, they can aware what is not allowed to do and hence improve their international knowledge.
In fact, watching news is not enough to promote international understanding. Therefore, my newt suggestion is traveling abroad. The international understanding. of young people mainly comes from the Internet and television. Without young people experiencing other countries' feature, how can they have a deep and impressive understanding? Via traveling abroad, young people can have a greater understanding for the local food, special dresses and conventional culture. These experience render young people a nourishment for international understanding.
For the people who cannot afford the traveling, I suggest they can try to get along with different national people. With the Internet, we can easily make friends via communication platform. Facebook, Skype and even Chat rooms are just some ways of making friends worldwide. with the friends sharing their local information, they can thus acquire more knowledge of the world. In fact, your friends can also improve their international understanding at the same time. What is if but meaningful? Moreover, it is a long term relationship. It helps young people to eliminate the delusions and the wrong belief they cling to. It is much easier to acquire further understanding. Getting along with different national people, with no doubt, is a convenient, effective way to promote international understanding.
Ignorance nurtures wars. To maintain peace, to stop wars, eliminate the ignorance is the first step we should take. Hope that the above suggestions can help young people become mature and help to promote international understanding.
