please help me correct this SOP ,it's for petroleum field admission.appreciate

Nowadays, sciences and technologies grow rapidly. Many kind of industries are rising to produce the goods for meeting the demand of consumption and variety of transportations help people travel more convenient. These both example activities consume a lot of energy which are oil and gas from petroleum. This is a reason that After graduation, I will decided to study master degree in the petroleum field.
I would like to take this opportunity to describe my educational background. I have spent my undergraduate years for chemistry at Mahidol University. In this last year, I focus on studying physical-chemistry lecture which are stat. thermodynamics and special topic in physical chemistry and conducting the research about an alternative energy in the topic of "Chemical and physical properties of Fe-doped Zinc Oxide nanorods" that is a component of the dye-sensitizesolar cells, more than that, Zinc Oxide nanorods's property is the ability of photodecomposition of toxic compounds. This research may be ,in the future, used for the toxic gases decomposition from some processes of the petroleum industry. During four academic years, I have been a member of Christian and Exceller clubs which usually hold the social welfare work. Participation in the clubs makes me love to help other people who lack of the opportunity.
A master in petroleum will enhance my knowledge to develop the processes of the petroleum industry, for instance, the process improvement for more efficiency and less pollution, including the exploration for the new petroleum sources.
I would like to study a master degree in the petroleum and petrochemical college at Chulalongkorn University, because Chulalongkorn University is the most famous university in Thailand, so many petroleum companies quite give credit to whom has finished studying in there and the high quality of education, due to lecture by the professors from the well-known university in USA, will update me the new information in a global aspect of petroleum technology.
