Yes, submit some writing samples (as long as they do not appear anywhere else on the Internet).

I wonder if they mean sentence structure or the structure of the overall composition.

If you really want to improve, read some books by Dianna Hacker, and when you have questions post them here.

I look forward to seeing the ways you violate proper structure and conventions, and we'll try to help! :)

Hi, this is another writing essay example.

"Every year more and more computers are finding their way into the classroom. Discuss and explain your opinions on the growing use of computer-assisted instruction in the classroom".

The growing trend of computers in our lives has impacted our society, including our schools. The curriculum of our schools has been impacted by the use of these machines. They help students in different ways
Computers are very helpful for doing homework. Teachers, when assign homework relay on computers for assisting students. For example, a research paper can be done easier with the assistance of a computer. With one click a student can navigate the internet and may find all sorts of information. This makes the assignment easier in contrast of the old days when students had to use the services of a library in which a student would spent more time to do their tasks.
Another way on which a computer is being used in the classroom as assisting a teacher is when he or she needs to explain better his lesson. They may use the computer as an alternative resource. For example, in the primary grades when students are learning new vocabulary the computer comes to play. The programs are full of visuals that are very helpful in teaching.
In addition, computers help students with special needs. They are used very commonly for autistics students. They assist teacher with pictorial programs. For example, autistic students learn fast new information with the help of computers. They are a great asset in every classroom.
Finally, computers in our school are very important. The growing trend of computers in the classroom is positive. They are here to stay. They assist teachers in many ways and are very helpful. The Innovation of the computer has come into our classroom to improve assisting- teaching instruction.

The growing importance of computers in our...

The trend does not grow, their importance grows.

If you want people to critique this, go give some ideas to others and ask them to do the same for you.

In the first paragraph, maybe you should say: In this essay, I will discuss (and then list the points you will make.

I think you should write a paragraph about how even more use of computers should be taking place in the classroom, because students will be entering the hi-tech world of 2015 and beyond. Things are changing fast, and education without computers is no longer able to be considered education.

You write well, but get it organized. Grab the attention with the first sentence, tell what the essay will include, use a paragraph for each point (you are doing this already), and then conclude with some final thoughts.
