Why were my two threads combined?

Hello.

My two threads were combined, and I was just wondering why...?
Putting them together makes it a little confusing and since I posted different answers/questions on each thread, they are all pushed together one after another... and it makes it go to 2 pages.

Well hopefully one of the moderators that helped me can still get back to my question. : )

I don't know offhand why they were combined, but looking at the thread, I notice all of the posts seem to relate directly back to the essay in the thread title, so perhaps whoever combined them thought it would be easier to have everything in one place.

That's correct. If the discussion is related to the same subject it should stay in one topic.
