My essay is about Is the United States ready for a female president why or why not? and also I have todo a brainstorming and mapping and essay should incluide Indrotuccion body paragraph and the conlusion at lest 4 setences long and the complete essay should be incluide 5 paragraph

i think brainstorming is a great idea and something you can start with... it will help you frame your essay and think of things you would want to include.

perhaps you want to look at the feminist movement and how women first got the right to vote and how long women have been voting but still there is no female president. maybe you could look at how many women are in the senate right now... and would they be potential presidential candidates. you could look at hilary clinton.. and how she was able to run and obstacles that got in the way of her progressing forward. you can look at the society and educational messages women receive about becoming the president. once this is done, you can look at each section and judge if there is way for women to run and win or not.

i think you have a lot of work to do in order to work on this eassy. just spend an hour thinking about it and writing things down.

Start with your topic sentences. If you look at a well structured essay, you will see that you can read the first sentence of every paragraph and get a good sense of what the essay is all about.

One paragraph = one idea, and the idea is expressed in the topic sentence (first sentence of the paragraph) of each paragraph.

So, you will need 3 good topic sentences, one for each body paragraph. That means you need 3 god ideas that will be the building blocks of your essay. Start by writing 3 topic sentences.

The idea is to use mind mapping to come up with your ideas. You can do it!!! Google "mind mapping" in order to make sure you know what it is, and use it to come up with 3 ideas (topic sentences.

Write those 3 sentences, and we will build them into an essay. :-)

Your essay question is something I find which is very interesting. Personally, I would take an analytic approach, taking famous women and stating why they would be good presidents.

Remeber my idea is only an idea.

Hey thanks 4 answer me well I just start my essay and I want to know if I 'm doing good so far or not please let me know =)

I want to believe that answer to this question is yes because if we look back in 1920, women in the United States finally were given the right to vote with the passage of the 19th amendment. It took 64 years after that for a female to become a candidate for the Vice-Presidency for one of the two major parties. And now, 24 years later, Hillary Clinton looks to be the favorite for the Democratic Party's nomination for the Presidency, like Chile recently elected Michelle Bachelet as its first woman president. She's a pediatrician and a one-time political prisoner of former strongman Augusto Pinochet.

and one more point ,you can discuss about that women have equal capability in intelligence, level of education, leadership and making policy. I believe this is a trend at least in many people's mind, as more and more women are taking active role in society.

She's a pediatrician and a one-time political prisoner of former strongman Augusto Pinochet also in Liberia, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf was inaugurated last month as that nation's first woman president. In Finland, Tarja Halonen won re-election in late January as president and I would say that there are several reasons why Hillary is poised to become the first female to make a serious run at the presidency. These include her experience as a Senator, her name recognition from being the First Lady, her charisma and speaking ability, the fact that she has a built in base of women, and her popular husband: former President Bill Clinton. When we break down each reason, it will be easy to see that it is the combination of all of these that have allowed Hillary to become the first major candidate for the Presidency and also I think most importantly, is that she is married to Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton is still one of the most popular politicians of our time. While the sex affair that he had with an intern hurt some of his popularity, he remains a very popular fixture, especially with Democrats I'm not sure about that, however it appears that Hillary has all the right tools to become the first female candidate that will be considered a major candidate .

In conclusion, America is ready for a great government, lead by a great President, regardless of skin color or gender. Black and female leadership worked and continues to work for this country making it stronger. The proof is there. The media should back off and "let the chips fall where they may.

and how I do a brainstorming and mapping too I can someone give me an example

Above, I used " " marks around the answer. Also, I put a comma after "yes," because this is a compound sentence, and the 2nd half of it begins after "yes."

I know what you mean, though. You mean that you believe the answer is yes because of the fact that so much progress has been made during this century.

In conclusion, America is ready for a great government, lead by a great President, regardless of skin color or gender. ----- good sentence!!

The media should back off and "let the chips fall where they may. This is not relevant to the rest of the essay. Don't start talking about the media here. Save it for a different essay.
