How to write an Essay Proposal?

I haven't written a essay proposal for a long time. When I check "how to write a essay proposal" on the internet every one has a different way to write a essay proposal. I already know how to write the introduction + thesis, but for the body and the concluding paragraph what are you suppose to do there since this isn't the actual essay you're writing. So I was writing does anyone know how to write a essay proposal ?
