Sum up of all the facts: Conclusion help?

Ezzii45 1-1  Nov 1, 09, 09:05am  #
Hi there.

In my history essay our teacher says I'm not aloud to use "I" in it. I haven't so far but now I'm stuck on the conclusion.

The body of my conclusion so far is: Sum up of all the facts. Then I put it could be rather argued that (statement here.) The evidence suggests that the medieval church did make life difficult for people but on the other hand it also helped people too.

Now all I'm stuck on is how to agree with the statement in either these 3 forms no, a bit or yes. But I'm not aloud to say "I"

So please help me. Thank you

All you have to do is resummarize all the main points you out lined in your essay.Just rephrase them. Most english teachers do not like students using the word "i" or referring to "i" in your paper.
Good luck. Conclusions are the easiest part!

Like when writing the theses, instead of writing 'I believe that the internet is really helpful,'
You can either either...
Omit the 'I believe' and have 'The internet is really helpful,'
Replace 'I believe' with 'Many people believe'
or when talking about an experience replace 'I' with 'one'.

-Hope this was helpful!
