I had completed my 12th grade in May 09.I AM joining college an year late because i am preparing for a university entrance here in India...
I was wondering what School Forms I have to submit along with the common app..
Should I submit both the Secondary school report(SSR) and final report or only the final report??I am assuming I dont need to submit the midyear report.
Also,I studied in a school till 10th class and then shifted to a junior college to stufy 11th and 12th..Should I get 2 separate SSRs and Final Reports??
Can I get one of the teacher recommendations from the 10th class school??
the SSR is most important and must be submitted,,you should get the SSR from both schools...you could neglect the mid year report but your final report should be from your last high school.this was an advice from a counselor to me because i also finished from 2 schools.
Get everything, different colleges and universities will omit and accept different things. It is best to give them as much as you can. In my opinion, better safe than sorry!

agree w/ advice as above, 10th grade recommendations are always a bit iffy because of how long ago they had you, if your going to do it, make sure you have a special relationship w/ your teacher, something that goes beyond the classroom, maybe w/ one of your extra cirriculars, that would be great. And if you do have them write you one, and really theres no harm in doing it, make sure you have reliable soruces for 11th and 12th grade, in others words, dont rely on the 10th grade one to be your best one and do the big work and have the greatest impact, view it more as a supplement, hope that helps.
