Here my problem I have to write an in class essay tomorrow
and i wrote a rough introduction to be prepared
The topics are...
Memory and Ethnic identity....the ways that shared history is important to the group feeling essential to ethnic identity (family history, "racial" history, historical experience of victimization.)

OR

Violence, victimization, and ethnicity... the extent to which "ethnic identity" is dependent upon (or the result of) experience of group victimization or violence.
