Help with PLA essay

Does anyone here have any experience with these essays ?
They require a 3 page essay minimum just for one class and a 15 page essay for a whole semester or something like that.
Anyway is there any websites that pertain just to this kind of essay writing or forum, or a section in this one that would help?
Because I have no idea was is pertinent or not in my life experience for a class or how a class relates to what i know.

Thank you for your reply, I had asked my academic adviser and all he told me was to write a pla for the pla division so they could review it and give me class. For example if I wanted credit in Psychology then I would need to write a 3 page paper on it. But i don't have to sign up for the class prior to, so I guess I will attain the syllabus of that class and use to kolb model you speak of to write my paper on courses I want out of.

That sounds like a very good plan. Begin your research by doing an internet search for "Kolb Model" that will bring up information you can use to begin your outline. As you work through it, the process will make more sense. You can also search for "ELT" or experiential learning theory, which will help you understand Kolb's theory.
