I sort of agree with Kevin. Obama was the first person who came to my mind. But did he really change community development practices? I mean, he was a great community organizer but he was basically just reusing old practices wasn't he? I just did some quick research on Jane Jacobs and she does look more like what they are looking for... Michael Leonard
