Hi i must write an essay about the question. "should children accept it as their duty to take care of their aging parents?"

In this essay I want to write about the problem with the ageing population. Some elderly people needs help to live without problems. Should children accept it as their duty to take care of their ageing parents?

I would say yes. The parents accept it as their duty to take care of their children, too. So I think it is a moral obligation to give it back. And what happens with them if nobody helps. They must go in an old people home. In my opinion the quality of living is not as good as at home. They would not be very happy .What kind of child is it which thinks its rite that his parents are unhappy in this age. You can also see it from another aspect. Older parents can help their adult children. For example they can make some meals or look after the children of their children. And you should not forget a nice grandmother or grandfather do very well to the climate of everyone's family.

To conclusion I would say, it is very important to help your parents and every children should accept it as his duty to take care of their parents.
