A Balance Development Should be Free from Corruption

Can someone please help me on this essay by suggesting ideas or points? I understand that a balanced development is the creation of equal opportunities for all to participate, contribute to and benefit from development.

Probably not, actually. We would need to know more, first. A balanced development of what or of whom? Free of what sort of corruption? By definition, things are better if they have not been corrupted, so your statement doesn't seem foolish, but it does seem incomplete, making it difficult to give you feedback.

I would define it as, "the economical development of a country which involves the participation of every individual should not be tainted by corruption by the public or the government so that everyone would have a fair share of the fruits of this development."

This topic should be mainly about how corruption can disrupt the development of a country.

Then your thesis shouldn't be that countries should be free of corruption. That's a given. Your thesis should be your answer to the question "how can corruption disrupt the development of a country?"

Nevermind about the thesis. I just need the points. Also, I can't make a thesis statement if I don't have the points. The title given to me was, "A balanced development should be free of corruption". Then, they ask me to write a speech on it. I figured they wanted to know why or how a balanced development of a country should be free of corruption. What do you figure?
