What is the best format for Personal Statement / SOP?

Do admissions prefer double spaced or simply single spaced with spaces between the paragraphs? Oh and if you have time, please help me edit I'M A THUG b/c its my first draft and I need to turn it in by the 1st. Thank you so much!!!

It is generally easier to read and make notes on double-spaced work. I would say that you should use double-spaced - especially since you will use that for any papers you turn in while in college.

Format of SOP

heyy...could i plzz get a rough format of an SoP?!

1) State the purpose of writing it.

2) Remember to say only what the reader wants to hear (I assume this is for college admission officials)

3) Say why you are interested in the field of study

4) Say what you intend to focus on/study in college

5) explain your short term and long term goals

6) say how college will give you the skills to achieve your goals

I'm Prosenjit Hazra. I'm astudent of BA-Textile & Clothing Management, at Hochschule Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, Germany. My university has offered a scholarship program, I want to apply in there so that I have to prepare a motivation letter.
