King Lear and his manipulative ways

Im trying to think of ways that Lear manipulated people with in his country and with in his family.

In the beginning he tried to manipulate his daughters - he forced them to declare their love for him, and when Cordelia's profession of affection was not sufficient, he disowned her.
...maybe that helps?! I don't know.

Just read it! :-) It is hard to understand, so use Sparknotes to get the general idea, but then really read it and enjoy it. Spend some time. It will enrich your personality and perspective like it has done for so many of us.
