Depends. If you want short books that have had a lot written about them, both Anthem, by Ayn Rand, and Animal Farm, by George Orwell, would work. If you want more modern books that are really well-written and a joy to read, Life of Pi by Yann Martel is a good candidate.

It depends what you mean by 'easy', and, like zowzow said, what genre you want to write about.

I remember doing one on The Davinci Code. Not technically 'easy', but I had fun doing it.

it depends what the criteria for the book report is, what grade your in, what the requirements are and what you enjoy.
